Last Saab ever produced purchased for museum

SaabsUnited.com ran an online donation to purchase what could possibly have been one of the last Saabs to ever leave the production line, a Saab 9-3 in Arctic White with a 180HP turbodiesel engine and a six-speed transmission.

According to the group, 600 donators had contributed to the purchase of the car and they will be sending it to the Saab Cars Museum on loan to be displayed there.

The Saab Cars Museum itself also faced being liquidated, until a group of investors in Sweden managed to put enough money in to save it and preserve it.

More details can be found on the SaabsUnited.com post regarding the donation project.
