The past three days were quite hectic for us at Autohaus. We had the launch party for the Luxury and Supercar Weekend at Bar None on Friday night and the setup for our display area at the Luxury and Supercar show itself. I had to say all in all, it was pretty worth it.
Day 1 of LSW2012 was perfect, aside from the local temperature. The sun was out so it totally helped bring out the ‘garden party’ theme of the event. Walking in from the main entrance, we were surrounded by classics. On the left was a lineup of almost every Bond car from the very first Bond movie to the most recent one. We got to the Autohaus tent and got ready to do a full lap of the event and take some photos.
Lunch at the VIP area was pretty cool; Bassano and a number of other companies were handing out free food and drinks along with the meal we got with the VIP pass. Felt bad for the cooks, the day was already hot enough and they had to work inside a tent that pretty much kept all the heat packed in one spot.
Didn’t quite get a chance to check out any of the smaller side events for the VIPs, however.
Day 2 was not quite as sunny, it even rained a little, which then led to this rather unfortunate accident:
There was a lot more fun to be had on Day 2, though, because our little area of the Luxury and Supercar show had these going:
